The capacious retail space at Breeze Center is divided into two main areas. On its nine above ground and two basement levels, the high-ceilinged Area A boasts a six-screen multiplex theater, supermarket, food court, and a six-floor department store. At Area B, the first floor is called Luxury Ave, and aptly so with shops specializing in some of the fashion worlds biggest brands. The shops on the Ground Floor "Cinderella City" sell everything needed for the princess-to-be, from cosmetics and jewelry to shoes and accessories. Sunlight bathes down to the B1 level through the transparent roof, adding a bright note to the spacious shopping environment covering 66,000 square meters in all. Breeze Center also regularly arranges a number of fun activities frequently to add a festive note to your next shopping spree.

Puppetry Art Center of Taipei was born from a passion for the art of puppetry. In 1998, Lin Ching-fu, chairman of the Taiyuan Arts and Culture Foundation, donated his personal collection of puppets, which he had gathered over several decades, to the Taipei City Government, in the hope of establishing a venue where these puppets could be preserved and exhibited in perpetuity. On August 7, 2004, the brand new Puppetry Art Center of Taipei, dedicated exclusively to the display, performance, teaching, and collection of puppets and puppetry, was opened next to the CPCity Living Mall, the biggest shopping mall in East Asia.

Guang Hua Market was established by the Taipei City Government in 1973 as a retailer market, using the space beneath the old Guanghua Bridge. Originally, the market specialized in old books, giving it the nickname "old books street". Within a decade, however, electronics retailers gained presence in the market. Due to underground railroad construction in 1992, Guang Hua Market was moved to an underground location at the corner of Bade Road and Xinsheng South Road. By this time, the area became known for electronics, with many new stores opening, and the establishment of other electronic markets such as the International Electronics Market, Contemporary Life Market, and Sanpu Market. In 2006 due to the deconstruction of the Guanghua Bridge, Guang Hua market was moved to a temporary location at the corner of Jinshan North Road and Civic Boulevard. The temporary building consisted of five warehouse-like halls, providing a total of 196 retail stores. Not soon after market moved into its temporary location, construction began on the current six-story Guang Hua digital plaza building. This has been the current location since July 2008. The Guang Hua Digital Plaza building today consists of six stories above ground and one story below ground. The first story above ground is an exhibition space for electronic products. The second and third stories are the new locations for the 196 vendors of the original Guang Hua Market. The fourth and fifth stories are the new locations for the vendors of Xining Guozhai Electronics Market. The sixth floor is reserved for repair shops, education classes, and offices. The basement floor is parking.

In 2007 the Taiwan Cultural-Creative Development Co. Ltd assumed responsibility for the renovation and operation of the Park and renamed it Huashan 1914. An organically creative environment has been growing ever since. Huashan 1914 now serves as Taipei’s primary creative arts center and a hosting ground for Taiwan’s most significant cultural activities. Examples include the Simple Life music festival and the BiBo student design expo. Today Huashan 1914 is not only the heart of Taiwan’s creative pulse, but also a bridge to a unique architectural past.

Situated in the fashion center of East end in Taipei, SOGO Fuxing Store is connected with Zhongxiao Store and Dunhua Store to offer a comprehensive shopping space of luxury goods, fashion, life, food, leisure and recreations.

In 2012, the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park was positioned as the “Creative Hub of Taipei", with the objective to nurture creative talents and energy. The Park is not designed with a commercial focus, but rather, its mission is to kindle creativity and innovation and to be in synch with the interdisciplinary developmental trend observed in today’s industries. The Songshan Cultural and Creative Park is not just a platform for showcasing creativity and innovation. It strives to be a hub for inspiring and nurturing the spirits of creativity, and with the four key strategies of “Creative Lab", “Creative Co-Op", “Creative School", and “Creative Showcase", the objective is for the Park to achieve the goal of becoming Taipei’s creative hub. With the mission in mind, the Park is assertively involved in the organization of various artistic, cultural, and creativity events, which also include presentations of design, visual, and cross-disciplinary events. The activities take shape in diverse formats, including film shootings, press conferences, extended or short-term exhibitions, award ceremonies, symposiums, seminars, fashion shows, and much more. The cultural heritage site of the Park is used in multifaceted lively ways, and with its unique ambiance enhanced, the location has gradually been transformed into a new destination for cultural and creative industry endeavors in Taipei and also a new creative stage with an international focus. The Songshan Cultural and Creative Park’s mission and duties involve continual efforts in facilitating exchanges between industries and to offer support for the development of aesthetical experiences, and also promotional and marketing endeavors, which are all aimed at creating the greatest benefits from the Park’s multiple functions. Furthermore, it will also continue to organize large-scale cultural and creative events and to actualize the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park’s vision to become Taipei’s creative showcase window. With the Park’s multifunctional spaces and its multifaceted operational approach, the intention is to transform the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park into an iconic indicator for everyday aestheticism and design cognition and for the location to truly become acomprehensive multifaceted creative center.
